my daughter is in her 3rd year of college in dc. it was in her 1st year when we were introduced to the washington court hotel. what a find! the place is always a thoroughly enjoyable stay. the rooms are always spotless, well stocked, beds comfortable, shades nice and dark. perfect! the staff is always helpful. the location is great. and the price is right!! there's nothing not to like about this place. i'm glad i found it her in 1st year as there have been multiple overnight trips to dc and there's never been a problem.

I found this hotel online and my wife and I loved the hotel. It was clean, everyone helpful and friendly and just a nice place to stay. Now, I know when I travel in by Amtrak I can stay here as it is very close to Union Station and business around the Capitol.   more [+]

Hotel Guest 2011-12-12 A great find
I found this hotel online and my wife and I loved the hotel. It was clean, everyone helpful and friendly and just a nice place to stay. Now, I know when I travel in by Amtrak I can stay here as it is very close to Union Station and business around the Capitol.

We booked the weekend getaway package and got a fantastic deal! We loved every aspect of this hotel. Everyone was extremely nice and courteous and went above and beyond to help! We booked the weekend getaway package and got a fantastic deal! We loved every aspect of this hotel. Everyone was extremely nice and courteous and went above and beyond to help! The hotel is located less than a mile from the national mall and close to Capitol Hill. I am out of shape and I had no problem walking to all major attractions from our hotel. Union square (near our hotel) had lots of shops and food. We would definitely stay here again!
